A disturbance at the Days Inn lands a Bethany man in jail.

Batavia Police report that they were called to the Days Inn on Oak Street early Sunday morning to handle some unruly guests.

One of those guests, 22-year-old Andrei Sliker of Silver Road, allegedly tried to punch the hotel’s manager. He also became belligerent and shouted obscenities in the public place.

Sliker was remanded to Genesee County Jail on charges of harassment and disorderly conduct in lieu of $250 bail.

A Rochester man is accused of driving through Bergen with two pounds of marijuana in the car yesterday.

Hector Leon-Figueroa, 31, was stopped on I-490 for an alleged speeding violation and having an obstructed license plate when Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies say they discovered two pounds of marijuana in the car.

Hector was jailed without bail. A passenger in his car, Omar Figueroa was locked up on $5,000 bail.

A Darien woman is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Sheriff’s Deputies were investigating an altercation between two people on Simonds Road Saturday when they discovered a child, under 12 months old, outside without appropriate clothing for a 33-degree day.

Twenty-four-year-old Fawn Kaczmarek was issued an appearance ticket for Town of Darien Court tomorrow. The child was turned over to a parent and was not treated at the scene for any apparent injuries.
