A 61-year-old Orleans County man has been arrested for murder in the death of a woman whose body was found along a Town of Carlton road.
The grim discovery was made early yesterday on Oak Orchard River Road by a school bus driver.
The body was that of 53-year-old Rachel Miller.
Arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder was Frederick Miller.
Deputies said the two lived together in a home near where the woman’s body was found.
Although the two have the same last name, officials said they were not married and were not siblings but they declined any further comment on the relationship.
Deputies said there was some kind of altercation between the two that started inside the house and continued outside.
Officials said Rachel Miller died from an apparent blunt force wound.
