A pair of Buffalonians allegedly tried to rip-off Batavia’s JC Penney store.
Store employees for Penney’s reportedly saw 51-year-old Milton Campbell and 39-year-old Maria Manning stuffing clothing into a black trash bag. When the two were approached, they fled the scene, and fled the City of Batavia.
State Police caught up with the pair on Route 33 in Corfu and turned them over to BPD. They are each charged with a count of Grand Larceny.
Both are being held in the county jail without bail.
