Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union CEO Susan Blanchard has announced her retirement effective March 15.
After a 33-year career working in credit unions, Blanchard says she’s proud of leading the credit union through the ups and downs of the economy ensuring that quote – “the credit union is a financially stable place to do business.”
Blanchard has been CEO of Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union since 1987 when Batavia Federal Credit Union merged with Education Employees Federal Credit Union. Since she took the reins, Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union expanded to a company with 14-thousand, 500 employees with 70-million dollars in assets.
