A Batavia man is facing charges for allegedly damaging someone’s property with a car.
Timothy Walsh, 44, of Redfield Parkway is charged with criminal mischief and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. The alleged accident occurred on Hunn Road in Alexander Sunday. Walsh is due in court for arraignment on Feb. 26 in Alexander Town Court.
A Batavia teen is accused of physically interfering with the arrest of another individual.
Scott Fairfield, 19, of South Swan Street is charged with resisting arrest. He was issued an appearance ticket for Batavia City Court for Feb. 13.
An Oakfield woman accused of breaking into and burglarizing an Alabama home over Father’s Day weekend last year is charged with a felony.
Penny Sprague, 42, is facing a single second-degree burglary charge. Sprague allegedly entered the Knowlesville Road home back in June and stole electronics, jewelry and other property. Following her arraignment, she was released under supervision of Genesee Justice. She is due in Alabama Town Court March 7.
A Batavia woman is facing three felony counts of forgery.
Stephanie Hotchkiss, 36, of Bank Street is accused of committing larceny and forgery of three personal checks from an acquaintance. According to City of Batavia Police, she completed each check in the amount of $3,000 and was successful in cashing the first, but not the second two.
Following arraignment in City Court, Hotchkiss was released under supervision of Genesee Justice.
