A Batavia man is facing two drug charges.
Shawn Klineline, 30, was stopped on East Main Street in Batavia Sunday for several traffic violations when deputies allegedly found a non-prescribed, controlled substance outside its original container.
Klineline was issued an appearance ticket for City Court on Feb. 26.
A South Lyon Street resident is facing a petit larceny charge.
Kathleen Cramer, 49, is accused of shoplifting from Dollar General on Sunday. She was issued an appearance ticket for City Court on Feb. 19.
Three Batavia residents are facing second-degree criminal contempt charges for allegedly having contact with people they were ordered to stay away from.
Nineteen-year-old Kenneth Cook III of Oak Street was remanded to CountyJail with bail set at $1,000 for allegedly being in the presence of a protected person; Melissa Betances, 31, of Pearl Street is accused of sending text messages in violation of an order of protection out of GeneseeCounty family court and was issued an appearance ticket for City Court; and 41-year-old Booker Ricks III of Chestnut Street is scheduled to appear in City Court tomorrow.
