Governor Cuomo's approval rating has taken a major hit after he pushed through strict gun laws earlier this month.
Cuomo's rating fell from 74 percent last month to 59 percent in a new Quinnipiac University poll. Cuomo's support among Republicans in the Empire State plunged from 68 percent before the gun law to just 44 percent as of today.
