Governor Cuomo is showing some potential flexibility in his push for a minimum wage increase.
Cuomo tells "Crain's" editorial board his pitch for a 20 percent hike in the state's minimum wage is a "starting point" for negotiations with the Legislature.
Business groups have already complained about the plan to push the minimum wage from $7.25 to $8.75 an hour saying such a move would cripple small businesses.
