Even though a Wind Chill Advisory has been pulled for Genesee County as of 10 this morning, the temperatures remain incredibly cold, even for Western New York standards.

Because of this, pet owners should be cautious. Frostbite can set in faster for animals when they are outside.

Veterinarians say to limit your pet’s exposure to the cold weather, stay outside only as long as your pet needs and make sure not to forget to wipe their paws when they come in.

We have weather updates twice an hour on AM 1490 WBTA and streaming live on WBTAi.com.
