The Sabres season is finally set to begin Sunday afternoon when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers at home, following a four-month labor lockout.
The public is invited to a scrimmage Monday night at 5:30 at First Niagara Center.
Buffalo will play only eastern conference teams including the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins five times each in the 48-game schedule and Toronto and Ottawa four times apiece.
The Sabres announced today they’ve sold over 31,000 tickets for games this season during a 24-hour pre-sale this weekend for season ticket holders and current mini-pack holders.
General, individual game tickets will be on sale Tuesday.
