Concerns are rising among Western New York veterans after reports of medical mistakes at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.

The VA has informed lawmakers that more than 700 patients may have been exposed to HIV, hepatitis B or hepatitis C through the reuse of insulin pens that were only supposed to be used one time. Officials say the misuse occurred between 2010 and 2012 and 570 of the patients involved are still alive.
