A former New York state trooper has pleaded guilty to charges of promoting prostitution.
Titus Taggart of Amherst was charged after a long investigation that determined he organized and supervised exotic dance parties that involved prostitutes.
The charge he pleaded guilty to was related to a party at a motorcycle club on Miller Avenue in Buffalo. Taggart has been fired by State Police, and faces up to a year in prison when he is sentenced.

An Oakfield teenager is facing a pair of felony burglary charges.
18-year-old Jamie Bachorski allegedly broke into a storage shed on Batavia-Oakfield Townline Road and a pole barn on Fisher Road this past summer, stealing a total of three ATVs in the two separate incidents.
Bachorski was committed to CountyJail in lieu of $10,000 bail for a violation of probation.
