A case of suspected animal cruelty is reported in Oakfield.
Roxanne Rowe, 25, of Maple Street, Oakfield, is facing a misdemeanor charge for allegedly feeding her neighbor’s dog food laced with metal objects.
Rowe also allegedly possessed marijuana. She is scheduled to appear in Town Court January 7th.
A Lockport woman is accused of shouting obscenities while in the street and refusing to remove her children from the roadway.
Lakiesha Gibson, 26, is facing charges of disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child. She was allegedly engaged in a dispute on Thorpe Street.
Gibson is due in City Court Tuesday.
A Batavia man convicted of drug-related charges was sentenced to two years probation by a U.S. District Judge.
42-year-old Andrew Chapman -- who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute methamphetamine – was responsible for obtaining quantities of methamphetamine from a supplier in LeRoy and then sharing the drugs on numerous occasions between April and July of 2010.
The supplier, Donald Vanelli II, was convicted and sentenced to 210 months in prison in May 2011.
