The NHL and the Players' Association met with federal mediators for a second straight day on Thursday, but there was no progress made once again in the ongoing labor dispute.

The two sides are expected to be in contact today either by phone or in person. Mediators were used in bargaining discussions on November 28th and 29th but those talks broke off without any progress.

A total of 526 regular season games, the Winter Classic and the All-Star Game have already been cancelled due to the lockout, which is in its 90th day.
