A 19-year-old from Attica is facing a felony burglary charge.
Joshua Beck of Prospect Street, Attica, is accused of breaking into a home on North Walnut Street in the village Tuesday morning.
A woman in the house at the time chased after the intruder later identified by police as Beck.
As the unidentified woman was chasing the suspect, she pulled the alleged burglar’s jacket off. Police found items taken from the home in the pockets.
Attica Police said the actions of the victim helped to make the arrest but they do not recommend victims confronting unknown suspects on their own.
Beck was committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Two Corfu men are facing felony drug charges.
Mathew Milleville and Andrew Marlinski, both 26 and both of Main Rd., Corfu are charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Law enforcement raided the duo’s home yesterday and found over 30 growing pot plants, some harvested pot and drug paraphernalia. A quantity of LSD was also found.
A town of Perry man was arrested following a report of a physical domestic disturbance.
Brandin Scott, 36, is charged with harassment and menacing for allegedly throwing a woman to the ground.
Scott was committed to Wyoming County Jail with bail set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Perry Court at a later date.
