Upstate and western New York is not done assisting victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Farmers in those regions are helping the downstate area by providing Christmas trees to families whose holiday plans and budgets have been disrupted by the storm. Members of the Christmas Tree Farmers Association of New York mobilized to donate fir, pine and spruce trees with an average retail price of 50-dollars.
The Governor’s Office is spearheading the distribution of 400 free trees.
