A Medina man is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs with a child in the car.
Steven Witkop, 46, was pulled over by Sheriff’s deputies in Batavia due to s complaint of erratic driving. Witkop is charged with a felony count of driving while ability impaired by drugs with a child less than 15 in the vehicle, as well as driving impaired by drugs and endangering the welfare of a child.
An arrest related to a Warsaw Court Bench Warrant turns into something much more serious.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Russell Bly, 47, at his residence for failure to pay a fine, but while at his residence, noticed an alleged inappropriate image of a female child on his computer. A search warrant revealed 45 pornographic images involving children on Bly’s computer.
He is facing felony charges of possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child and possession of a sexual performance by a child. Bly was committed to Wyoming County Jail on $10,000 bail.
He is scheduled to return to Town of Warsaw Court at a later date. The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
