New Yorkers prefer Hillary Clinton over Andrew Cuomo for a 2016 presidential bid. That’s according to a Siena College poll released Wednesday.
Cuomo’s job performance ratings are up and he owns a 72 percent favorability rating. However, voters in the state said the current secretary of state should run for president by a margin of 54 to 39 percent. Clinton’s favorability rating is 75 percent -- her highest ever in a Siena poll.
The same poll said 62 percent of voters would vote to re-elect the governor in 2014.
