If you like gathering news through social media (in addition to radio), State Police is finally joining facebook and twitter.
Superintendent Joseph D’Amico says the organization is moving into the 21st century and this will allow units to directly communicate and interact with the community.
On its official pages, the public can learn more about the State Police including its specialty units and members. It will also be posting important public safety information in regards to arrests, closures, traffic safety tips and even information on how the public can help in investigations.
You can find them on facebook and twitter.
