Town officials on Wednesday night released a map showing the boundaries of five proposed water districts.
Town Engineer Steve Mountain said applications for grant funding would be simultaneuously for all five. He has estimated that the average annual cost per property owner to connect up to the water system, including water usage and debt service, would be about $750 per year.
Names of Proposed Water Districts:
- Purple = Pratt Rd.
- Orange = Batavia North, West of Rt. 98
- Pink = Batavia North, East of Rt. 98
- Blue = Wortendyke Rd.
- Red = Creek/East Roads
100 Town of Batavia property owners gathered Wednesday night to hear the latest information about water well contamination.
