The NHL lockout has hit Day 65 with both sides scheduled to resume talks today after a week-long break.
The Players’ Association and the owners have been without a collective bargaining agreement since September. There is no official ruling on how close the two sides are in their negotiations. Some analysts are optimistic for a 60-game season starting December 15th, but things would have to move fast.
Games have already been canceled through the end of November, along with the annual outdoor Winter Classic game.
