The State Thruway Authority has once against postponed a meeting expected to address toll hikes.
The organization was first set to meet on Friday, then rescheduled for today which was inexplicably postponed again.
The proposed toll increase calls for a 45 percent hike on commercial trucks. Imposing the increase could have a trickle-down effect on consumers.
Board member Donna Luh in an interview with WGRZ says she’s had enough.
“We can’t even set a meeting, we can’t even keep a meeting? Our credibility’s going to be lost.”
Luh says this will affect her vote. She will no longer vote in favor of the increase.
“And it’s not an easy thing for (truck companies) to take and all of a sudden we’re playing games? I don’t like it. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be some type of increase but, what are we doing?”
A new date has not been announced.
