New York Senator Chuck Schumer says there's a "darn good chance" of getting something done on immigration reform.
Schumer says he and South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham will begin talks on the controversial subject soon and both have a plan to overhaul the country's immigration system. Schumer says there are certain stipulations.
“A path to citizenship that’s fair says you have to learn English, you have to go to the back of the line, you have to have a job, and you can’t commit crime," the Democratic lawmaker said on NBC's "Meet The Press.”
The plan would apparently include a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
