The Warsaw Central School district has named a new interim superintendent.
63-year-old Thomas Cox of LeRoy was appointed following the resignation of Valerie Burke last month. Burke was found to have a DWI arrest from 2011 that she never told the District about.
Cox is a veteran school administrator with over 25 years of experience.
Cox will also help Warsaw’s Board of Education develop a timeline for hiring a permanent superintendent. The search is expected to begin in spring.
