A Bergen woman, first arrested in January for stealing money while on the job as a bank teller, is now indicted on 12 charges.
Tracy L. Smith of Rochester St., is accused of stealing $20-thousand dollars from the drawer at LeRoy’s Bank of Castile between 2005 and 2008. In addition, investigators say she used a system of forged transaction slips and falsified bank records to skim an additional $25-thousand in November and December of 2009.
Smith will face a total of 5 counts of Grand Larceny, 4 counts of Forgery, and 3 counts of Falsifying Business Records.
Her case will be heard in Genesee County Court.
