A Batavia man faces several charges after he was found operating a stolen motorcycle. 22-year-old Matthew Vandorn was charged criminal possession of stolen property, operating with a suspended license, switched plates and no insurance or registration. He is to appear in Town Court October 9th.
An inmate at Buffalo Federal Detention Center was found to be a fugitive from child molestation charges in California. Miguel Valencia was being held in the detention center on unrelated charges when it was discovered he had a warrant as a fugitive from Riverside dating back to January 2009. He will face extradition at a later date.
