A LeRoy man with no permanent address has been arrested on multiple counts.
42-year-old Mark Cheeseman was charged with forcible touching, filing a punishable false written statement, harassment and trespass.
This stems from an investigation which started in late July when Cheeseman filed a police complaint alleging a gang style assault and signed two sworn Depositions regarding the alleged incident.
The Investigation, though, alleges that Cheeseman was actually the person who started the incident when he allegedly forcibly grabbed a woman. An altercation then ensued which spilled out into the street where Cheeseman allegedly trespassed onto the property of an uninvolved couple. Cheeseman refused to leave that property and allegedly pushed the uninvolved female multiple times.
Cheeseman was located at the City of Buffalo Criminal Court and returned to LeRoy where he was arraigned and Committed to the Genesee County Jail.
Bail is set at $1,500.
