A Rochester man, sent to County Jail for allegedly stealing more than $2,000 worth of printer ink and electronics from the Batavia Wal-mart, has now been charged with promoting prison contraband. Authorities said while they were processing 21-year-old Antonio James into the County jail they found he was in possession of a small amount of pot.
A Batavia woman is accused of stealing more than $100 worth of merchandise from the K-Mart in Batavia. 25-year old Samantha Johnson has been charged with petit larceny.
