More carges have been placed against suspected Batavia church burglar John Cabrera.
Batavia Police say the 22-year-old Cabrera has now been charged with break-ins at FirstBaptistChurch and St. Mary’s Church in Batavia. Both were burglarized on Sunday, July 8th.
Cabrera is already facing charges for allegedly breaking into St. Paul’s LutheranChurch on Washington Avenue. He is also accused of trying to escape from the Genesee County Jail while being held for the St. Paul’s burglary.
Batavia Police said DNA analysis was used to bring the latest charges. Cabrera remains in jail, without bail.
