It could very well be a record number of arrests for underage drinking following a Darien lake concert.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reports that 225 people were ticketed for underage drinking at the Toby Keith concert last night.
Six other persons were arrested on charges ranging from disorderly conduct, to pot possession to trespassing.
A 19-year-old man from Byron and a 19-year-old woman from LeRoy were taken to jail on their charges.
A Rochester-area soldier becomes the latest U.S. casualty in Afghanistan. Twenty-three-year-old Theodore Glende was killed over the weekend in a small arms attack in Logar province.
Glende was a graduate of Niagara University and was a newly wed.

A New York State Senator is calling for a state ban on high capacity magazine guns. Senator Eric Adams, holding a real assault rifle at a news conference yesterday in Yonkers, says he will introduce a bill in Albany to ban the selling and owning of such weapons.
New York City has banned high capacity magazine guns but in the rest of the state it's legal.
