The body of a 12-year-old girl has been found after a home was destroyed by an explosion Tuesday morning in Niagara County.

The blast occurred at about 6 am in the Town of Wilson where neighbors said they could hear and feel the explosion from over a mile away.

A mother, father, and two children were also injured. Firefighters believe that they were thrown out of the house by the force of the explosion. They have all been taken to hospitals and their condition is unclear.

Crews are still trying to determine the cause of the explosion.
