The Batavia City School District has received a bid for the sale of its Administration Building on Washington Avenue.
Reed Eye Associates has bid 500-thousand dollars for the property.
They plan to turn the building into an eye surgery center.
The public must vote on the sale. That vote could take place on September 17th.
Reed Eye Associates has been in business since 1978. They have offices In Wayne and Monroe Counties.
A natural gas leak forced about 20 Corfu residents from their homes.

The "New York Post," reports Cuomo is reviewing the Thruway's plan to impose a 45 percent toll hike on trucks at the end of September as a way of raising millions of dollars.
State business leaders have been against the proposal for some time, saying the toll hike could cripple the upstate business climate.
