More than 160,000 Western New Yorkers have a new bank Monday.
37 HSBC locations in the area have been turned over to KeyBank. This is a result of First Niagara buying most HSBC branches across Western New York.
First Niagara had to sell off 37 branches to avoid breaking anti-trust laws.
26 branches in the Buffalo area and 11 in the Rochester area are now KeyBank locations.
