A Batavia Woman was charged with disorderly conduct. 28-year-old Emily Smith was accused of waving a carving knife while in the middle of Williams Street threatening people and alarming them. Batavia Police said Williams and a neighbor were intoxicated on bath salts and began to believe they were mad at each other, which lead to the confrontation.
25-year-old Jason Barnhardt was charged with 2nd degree criminal contempt. Barnhardt is accused of living at a home on Tracey Avenue since June that he was allegedly barred by court from being at Barnhardt’s home was reportedly discovered during an emergency call to the residence earlier this week.
