A Stafford man has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment and harassment. 24-year old Kyle Nash allegedly engaged in an argument with another person when he pushed them onto the floor and held them there for a long time. The incident allegedly took place in close proximity of a two week old baby. Nash was arraigned Monday in Batavia Town Court.
A Batavia man is accused of stalking in the fourth degree. 37-year old Timothy Brown is accused of repeatedly texting and calling the former friend after he was asked to stop and after he was warned by police to have no further contact.
Two people were arrested in Batavia for allegedly possessing unstamped cigarettes. 55-year old Linda Garrettson was charged with possession or sale of unstamped cigarettes and possession of 10,000 or more unstamped cigarettes. 60-year old James Lapi was charged with possession and transport of 10,000 or more unstamped cigarettes. Garrettson was taken into custody by State Police. Lapi is in jail on $700 bail.
