A Pavilion woman is facing a felony charge of Drunk Driving under Leandra’s law.
State Police said 40-year-old Angela Kruse was arrested in LeRoy over the weekend with a 4-year-old child in her car.
Troopers said Kruse registered a BAC of point 1-4, almost twice the legal limit.
Kruse was locked up in lieu of $1,000 bail.
A Monroe County man has been jailed for allegedly robbing a gas station on Lake Street in LeRoy over the weekend.LeRoy police collared 32-year-old Robert Hizer after a short foot chase. LeRoy Police say Hizer is facing additional charges. They say he was drunk at the timeand had a child under 16 in his car.

New York Senator Charles Schumer is calling on Congress to quickly approve a deal being negotiated in the Senate that would block an impending student loan interest rate hike set to take effect July first. Schumer says without action, student loan interest rates for federally subsidized Stafford Loans will double from three-point-four-percent to six-point-eight-percent.
The senator says that would add thousands of dollars in interest payments to the costs of attending college.
The Richmond Memorial Library is offering more than just traditional bound books.
The library now offers e-books.
Leslie DeLooze is the Community Services Librarian. She says the Richmond Library has been offering the electronic books for almost a year now.
To download an e-book from the Richmond Library all you need is your library card.
DeLooze says if you’re new to the e-book technology you can come into the library and the librarians will walk you through the process.
