Voters in the LeRoy Central School District have approved two propositions to purchase new vehicles.
Proposition One approved up to $285,000 for the purchase of three new school buses. The measure passed by a vote of 85 to 35. State aid will cover 90-percent of the purchase.
Proposition Two approived $72,000 for the purchase of a new truck with a snowplow and a tractor. The vehicles will be used for snow removal and landscaping. The vote was 79 to 41. School officials noted that there was no state aid available for the truck or tractor.
