A month long investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in and around the City of Batavia has netted lawmen two suspects.
The pair was collared at the Batavia Days Inn last night.
25-year-old Taheed Moffett and 22-year-old Lekisha Avant, both of Rochester, have been charged with felony counts of drug possession.
The Genesee County Local Drug Task Force said they received a tip about suspected drug sales at the Days Inn.
A search warrant was served on a room there and police say they found about a thousand dollars worth of crack.
Both suspects were sent to the Genesee County Jail following their arraignment in city court this morning. Mofffett is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Bail for Avant was set at $15,000.
