General Manger of the New York Yankees Brian Cashman has announced that pitcher Andy Pettitte will start on Sunday, May 6th for the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees.
Cashman said the game will be in Rochester, but the game between the Scranton or Empire State Yankees and the Pawtucket Red Sox is actually scheduled to take place in Batavia at 1:05p.m.
There is rumor that the game could be moved to Rochester if Pettitte pitches.
Pettitte is returning to the Yankees after a one year absence from the game and has made several starts in the minors, none in triple A.
