Republican Congressional Candidate David Bellavia says he’s challenging his opponents to release their tax returns.
Bellavia released his own federal tax returns to the media Monday. He revealed his income tax returns dating back to 2006 where his income in the mid $60,000 range for most years, then jumped to $106,193 in 2007 and plunged to $24,141 in 2009.
The reveal came after he was recently scrutinized for late tax payments on his Batavia home.
Bellavia his is running for the 27th congressional district against former Erie County Executive Chris Collins and Democrat Incumbent Kathy Hochul.
