The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch. The watch is in effect from Sunday evening through 7:00 p.m. Monday.
Locations that could be affected are Genesee, Erie and Livingston Counties.
They weather service said they are expecting heavy and wet snow with accumulations from 5.5 to 8 inches. Winds are expected to be 40-Miles per hour.
They are predicting downed trees and power lines likely causing power outages. Hazardous driving conditions could develop.
A winter storm watch means that heavy snow accumulations are possible if you are within the watch area. Weather conditions have the possibility of rapidly changing.
