Republican presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich was in Buffalo Friday morning. Recently it was reported that Gingrich filed for bankruptcy, due to campaign debt. Gingrich said in the past that he plans to stay in the race until Candidate Mitt Romney gets over 11-hundred votes to secure the republican nomination. His visit was a routine visit to promote his run for president.
Romney plans to visit Buffalo on June 15th for a fundraiser at the BurchfieldPenneyArtCenter. The appearance could likely be his only trip to Western New York. Organizers say the event will be a major fundraiser both for the Republican presidential candidate and the Republican National Committee.
