There was a hazmat scare at the Medina Hospital Tuesday.
Medina Fire rescuers responded to the call where it was reported that there was a spill of Anethesia in the hospitals pharmacy; the drug is used when putting patients under before surgery.
Standard procedure is to evacuate the area. The whole hospital was not impacted, just the pharmacy department and the x-ray and lobby areas.
