It appears there will be no plea deal offered in the murder case against Scott Doll, 46, of Corfu.
Doll and his lawyer appeared briefly before Judge Robert Noonan this morning. Noonan told Doll that today was the last day for a plea deal.
Outside the courthouse, Doll's attorney, Paul Cambria, said no deal was offered and none would be accepted.
Speaking to reporters, Cambria talked about the purpose of today's court appearance, his criticism of the prosecution's handling of the case
and criticized the prosecutions handling of the case and how his client (Doll) is holding up under the pressure of the charges against him:
Defense Attorney Paul Cambria responds to questions:
Doll is charged with Second Degree Murder in the beating death of 66-year-old Joseph Benequist last February.
