An Alexander woman is accused with filing tax returns in her ex-boyfriends name and then claiming the refund. 37-year-old Amy Lynne Koch was charged with three counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny.
Koch accused of using her estranged boyfriend’s information to file both state and federal income tax forms. The ex-boyfriend is serving time in state prison and was when Koch used his information.
Koch allegedly created a bank account in both of their names so any tax refund money could be deposited in the account. Once the money was deposited, Koch allegedly withdrew the funds.
