What you see above is a screenshot from a Facebook page that popped up Thursday night, called "Batavia Fights." The page, which has since disappeared, was dedicated to posting videos of fistfights at Batavia City Schools. The fight seen above was purportedly on the steps of Batavia Middle School, involving two young girls and host of people watching.

The video is is troubling, but more so are the comments included alongside it. As can be seen above, several young people comment that they were present, or say the fight is funny or "good."

By Thursday evening, the Batavia City School District was aware of the page's existence. Assistant Superintendent Christopher Dailey released only a statement as the district continues its investigation:

"The middle school and high school are investigating our students that may be a part of the incident. Obviously we don not condone it. We will work with the authorities as well to make sure that our students' safety is of the utmost concern."

So far, Batavia Police have not returned media phone calls.
