Undersheriff Steven Smith tells WBTA News that Rodriguez-Flamenco was arguing with the other man– when suddenly, Rodriguez tore into his victim, raining blows down on the man’s head.
Luis Rodriguez-Flamenco has been placed in solitary confinement. He’s still being held without bail on murder charges from last fall.
Stepmother Charged for Promoting Prison Contraband
Direct from inside the Wyoming County Court: a stepmother is charged for apparently trying to give her stepson a little gift, heading off to prison.
According to deputies, 47-year-old Roxanne Bresette of Cowlesville was in court Wednesday to see Aaron Bresette sentenced. Aaron was headed for prison time.
Deputies say Roxanne sat down right behind him. She was allowed to speak with him, but not allowed physical interaction.
Still, Roxanne tried to show Aaron some photos, but the court officer grabbed the pictures first. Turns out one of them apparently had some synthetic marijuana, taped to the backside.
Roxanne is charged with Promoting Prison Contraband. She’s due in court next month.
They called it “Operation Cupid” – a big drug ring bust on Valentine’s Day.
Seven people are under arrest, charged with dealing in narcotics and weed across Wyoming County. Drug Task Force members say the group was selling suboxone and oxycodone, as well as growing a significant amount of marijuana.
Now arrested are Pennie Anderson, Jose Cruz, James Liddy, and an unnamed 58-year-old man, all of Warsaw; Clinton Browne and Christy Miller, both of Wethersfield; and Tina Dyer of Hemlock. Most are accused of criminal sale of the drugs.
Warrants are out for two more people involved in the drug ring.
