Ms Cox, you are so afraid to let Erin Brockovich and her environmental experts take a look at the site. You are aware that Erin Brockovich was a hero in the hometown of her initial environmental discovery. You are treating her like she is some kind of nutcase. What are you so afraid of to let her team do a study? Also just because you are a school superintendent does not make you a environmental expert. If the kids are really your first concern you would let the experts do their thing and you stick with whatever you are good at. If you would have handled this problem correctly in the first place Leroy would not now be looked at as the next Love canal. Get out of the way and let the environmental experts do their job. If I was a parent of one of these girls I would be thinking of sueing you and the district for not doing a proper investigation in the first place. i come to Leroy many times during the summer for golf. A beautiful town for golf and fishing is now a suspect place to visit.

I would agree. Her stance has been extremely defensive.
