Genesee County Legislature is asking for your help – to sign a petition they say is for your own good.
The Legislature is once again protesting the high cost of Medicaid, a state-mandated cost which this year represents $0.18 of every dollar taxed in the county. The Legislature today has published a letter (read the letter here), coming out against that mandate. There’s no harsh wording included, but the aim of the message is clear.
Legislators are asking you to sign the petition. They’re available at all city, town and village offices in the county – or you can get one in your e-mail.
