A California woman who admitted to ripping off Bank of America branches nationwide, has admitted the same crime here.

25-year-old Cassandra Montrevel of Sacramento, CA told Judge Robert Noonan on Monday that she entered Batavia’s Bank of America branch on March 18th, and used another woman’s identity to try and withdraw $3,000.

She was unsuccessful, and she was later caught and admitted the entire nationwide scheme.

Montrevel has already pleaded guilty in federal district court for defrauding multiple banks from here to Florida.

Montrevel faces a local sentence of up to four years behind bars. She’s also facing up to five years in federal prison.
